Dear Distinguished Gentlemen,
You may recall I mentioned the DGR a while ago and discussed it more recently.
The last time I looked the nearest ride was Taunton but Alan’s mate Roy alerted him to a new venue at Exeter.
The gathering point is Bridge Motorcycles, Exeter – Triumph are a sponsor so that makes sense.
Start time is 12:30pm on Sunday 27th September 2015, route from Bridge, via Matford, Exminster, Starcross to Dawlish warren for re-group and then return via reverse route.
The category for bikes is Café Racers, Classics, modern classics, trackers, bobbers, brats, sidecars, choppers, scooters and ‘specials’. See the website for definitions.
Riders are expected to dress ‘Dapper’ as the name of the ride implies, again there are examples on the website.
The cause is for Prostate Cancer, a suitable cause for us chaps to support perhaps?
I tried to register as VMCC Dartmoor, but it requires personal information so am now registered in my own name, as is Alan Langmaid.
As the ride is on the same day as the September Buckfastleigh meet, I might do breakfast there and then ride to Exeter – anyone wish to join me?

I have also posted an entry on the Cockington facebook page as it gets a few views still – what about posting it on our own website and also a link to the DGR website?
Another option is to send out an all members email, but have not dome that as I’m not sure I have an up to date list
It is likely to be a laugh and another opportunity to ride dapper – you know you want to!
