Fourteen riders with an interesting array of bikes met at Bovey Tracey at 10.00am for a 10.30am start. Leaving Bovey we headed across the moor to Widecombe, Natsworthy, Lettaford and then Chagford for a coffee stop. Moving on from Chagford we made our way across country through Murchington, Gidleigh, Throwleigh to Sticklepath where we stopped at the Taw River Inn for lunch. We were made very welcome and enjoyed roast dinner, a selection of real ale and good company. After lunch we went our separate ways, some of us enjoyed a brisk ride back through Chagford, Moretonhampstead, Bovey Tracey and home – We had a most enjoyable day with members joining us from Torbay, Newton Abbot, Okehampton, Exeter and Exmoor.
